LC2 is a comfortable sofa. It has loose cushions with polyurethane foam and polyester padding or spring padding with polyurethane core. Upholstery in leather. With its straight lines and elegant feel, the LC2 has received an obvious classic stamp. In addition to the comfort and the magnificent design, the LC2 is characterized by its tubular chassis in polished chrome. The armchair is included in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection.
The classic series LC stands completely on its own in terms of design. The original piece of furniture was the armchair designed by the designer trio Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1928. It was exhibited at the Salon d?Automne in Paris in 1929. The collaboration of the French designer trio resulted in furniture that was characterized by high quality, well-thought-out forms and function as well in the market then as they do today.
The cushions are covered in fabric or leather and are available in a wide range of colours. Thanks to its icon status and simple, stylish design, the LC2 is a favorite with us at Nordiska Galleriet. The LC2 together with the LC series is legendary and is still celebrated today, 90 years later. In our opinion, it is a sign of timeless, good design.
