Super Fake Rug Round Moon is part of the Super Fake collection, which is inspired by the interaction of man-made with nature. Each piece is inspired by different types of stone and the different surface patterns created by time and natural wear. In these rugs, each layer or facet is represented by a variety of techniques to produce rugs that have been developed over centuries by Tibetan artisans. Bethan enjoys exploring the relationships we create with the world in our everyday lives and is interested in critical approaches to achieving sustainability in production. With this collection, she hopes to create rugs that endure.
