Lunaria is a series of small tables created by Claesson Koivisto Rune for DUX in 2018. Lunaria can be used as a coffee table, side table, or coffee table and comes in three sizes that can easily be combined. The Lunaria tables consist of two rounded tops on a four-legged base and are made entirely of natural ash wood that has been treated with wax oil. The tops are subtly irregular, which together with the natural variations in the wood gives each table its unique charm. Claesson Koivisto Rune created the Lunaria tables for DUX with inspiration from the moon and how its shape looks from the earth. Thanks to the refraction of light and the earth's atmosphere, the illusion of the moon being slightly oval is given.
