Spindle Bench is designed by designer Nathan Yong for the Belgian wooden furniture company Ethnicraft. The elegant bench is made of solid oak that has been treated with pigmented hardwax oil. Inspiration for the Spindle Bench came to Yong from the wheel of a traditional spinning wheel. This can be seen most clearly in the slats that make up the bench's backrest, which resemble the spokes found in the wheels of a spinning wheel.
