Cecilie Manz designed the Caravaggio P2 pendant light in opal glass for Fritz Hansen in 2005. With Caravaggio, Manz has taken classic lamp design and given it a modern expression, an old-fashioned design that fits into many interiors. Caravaggio was an immediate success on the market and is produced in a variety of designs as a pendant light, as well as a floor lamp, a wall lamp, and a table lamp. This opal glass pendant light comes with a hand-blown opal glass shade and is available in several sizes. The Caravaggio P2 Pendant's shade is held in a fabric covered cable and the suspension device is made of chrome plated steel. The Caravaggio provides a directional light downwards while a dimple at the top of the shade allows some of the light to be diffused upwards.
