N01 was introduced in 2018 and became the latest addition to Fritz Hansen's collection of chairs that we are proud to represent at Nordiska Galleriet. The name comes from the fact that the chair is designed entirely in wood, as a tribute to Arne Jacobsen's Grand Prix chair from 1957.
N01 is a beautiful and comfortable dining chair with an armrest, designed by Japanese designer Nendo. The craftsmanship is the focus of the chair's design, which combines traditional Danish design with Japanese esthetics. The N01 is suitable for many dining tables.
The frame of the chair is made of solid wood and the seat of veneer. Three different finishes are available, natural beech or oak and black oak. For the black version, the natural structure of the wood has been left visible in the surface, giving a subtle, fine detail.
