Nicholai Wiig Hansen created the Night Owl lamp for Fritz Hansen in 2016. The table lamp is available in four variants, with an oval shade in aluminum and a conical base in aluminum or ash wood. The shade has a lacquered finish and can be positioned in four different directions, allowing the cord to be discreetly laid in the wrong direction. The Night Owl is available in four distinct colors, the names of which are inspired by nature. The lamp comes with a polycarbonate shade and a black cord.
The idea behind Night Owl was to create a lamp with a Nordic and warm glow in a stylish but simple form. The shade is narrow which directs the light downwards and thanks to the asymmetrical shape the light has an oval, soft, distribution. Night Owl is a small lamp with a big personality.
