About a Chair AAC42 from HAY, designed by Hee Welling, stands out from the crowd among the nearly 40 different models in the About a Chair series. The armchair is equipped with shorter legs that make it a cross between an armchair and a lounge chair, with its seat height of 38 centimeters. This opens up a series of other uses than the rest of the collection. For example, the About a Chair AAC42 chair works perfectly with the modern sofa group, as a solitary piece in the hall or in the children's room.

In terms of finish options, however, the armchair is no different from its siblings, with 15 different colors to choose from for the embracing shell. This in turn is combined with a beech plywood base, adorned with an oak veneer exterior. For the legs veneer, you can choose from either black-stained, clear lacquered, sanded or matte lacquered oakwhatever you want.

For all the non-upholstered chairs in the series, there is also the possibility of having a shell with an upholstered seat or a fully upholstered interior. You can then choose from both Kvadrat and CA-MO fabrics and leather, with a huge series of colors. If interested, you are very welcome to contact our customer service to see what options are available, pricing and help with your order. Should you wish to have a fully covered shell, you can instead choose the AAC43 model directly from our online store.
