En komplett livsstil för det moderna hemmet

A complete lifestyle for the modern home

For over 50 years, Giovanni Ananzi and his cousins Aldo and Alberto Spinelli have been running the Poliform success story, a story that actually began much earlier.

Because although the official start of Poliform as we know it today was in 1970, the Ananzi and Spinelli families started a small business with a craft studio in Brianza, Italy, back in 1942.

The legacy of what was once a small family business has been well managed and today the brand is present on five continents with a range that can easily furnish an entire home with all its necessary components. A complete lifestyle brand for the modern home that never compromises on form or function.

Perhaps part of the success lies in what Giovanni Anzani expressed in interviews, that the heart and soul of the company and the brand is based on the never-ending entrepreneurship for which Brianza has become so well known. A region where he and his cousins grew up, a culture they were moulded in and a place where they still live and work.

Poliform is perhaps best known for its kitchens, which are some of the most exclusive in the world. Materials range from a palette of different woods in warm tones to steel fronts that give a more industrial restaurant kitchen feel.

There are solid working kitchens for those who enjoy cooking, ample bar tables and kitchen islands that allow people to gather around pots and glasses and, of course, drawers, cabinets and shelves for both utensils and crockery. Whoever you are and whatever your home and needs are, there is every opportunity to create your personal dream kitchen, customised for each individual home and room.

But storage is required in far more places than the kitchen, and in the world of Poliform we talk about Day System and Night System, the collective name for the complete solutions that include storage, both visible and hidden.

In the Day System you will find bookcases, cabinets and sideboards that expose and highlight your favourite objects, but at the same time hide what you need to store a little less visibly, what fits better behind stylish doors and drawer fronts. Specially designed furniture for music systems, TVs and other technology and entertainment complement the collections so that the home can be harmonised.

Night System includes wardrobe systems, dressers and everything else that makes it easy to organise clothes, shoes and accessories when you're not using them. And it doesn't matter if the storage is located in the hallway and bedroom or in a generous walk-in closet. Simply everything you need for what you want to highlight and display, but also furniture that neatly and cleverly hides what you want to store out of sight.

But of course, Poliform is much more than practical solutions in exceptionally stylish packaging, it is also designer furniture for the rest of your home. Collaborations with creators, designers and architects such as Jean-Marie Massaud, Marcel Wanders and Paolo Piva have resulted in appreciated objects that, despite their different expressions, all breathe Poliform's unique DNA.

The Hilton Lake Como clearly demonstrates the breadth of the brand. Here, the entire hotel, from lounges and meeting rooms to dining rooms and spa to 170 rooms and suites, has been decorated with Poliform's design. An excellent example of a successful concept that has earned its place in both private and public spaces.

De mjuka formernas revolution

The revolution of soft forms

It's as if a revolution has rolled in and taken over our homes. The same movement has also hit public spaces and not least our Instagram feeds. The revolution comes in soft shapes, with curved contours and it is as if all straight lines and sharp corners have been eliminated in favour of the opposite. The shapes are accompanied by materials that feel as inviting as a soft and warm fur on a chilly winter day or a knitted mohair sweater against bare skin.
