Hero Lanseringsfest Jonas Bohlin 2

2022/6/6

At the launch party with Jonas Bohlin

On 25 May, we launched Concrete KOL by inviting Jonas Bohlin and some of design Sweden's top names to Nybrogatan 11.

Concrete was the chair that sparked a crucial debate in the Swedish design industry in 1981. Jonas Bohlin's graduation piece in concrete and steel could be called neither design nor art and became one of our greatest classics, design objects and collectibles.

More than 40 years later, Jonas Bohlin stood in the shop at Nybrogatan 11 to introduce us to the sequel Concrete KOL - a new edition of the burnt pine chair icon released by Källemo in a limited edition of 100 pieces.

The 25th of May was an afternoon and evening that brought interested customers together with some of the design industry's leading personalities and where Jonas Bohlin introduced us to his latest work.

De mjuka formernas revolution

The revolution of soft forms

It's as if a revolution has rolled in and taken over our homes. The same movement has also hit public spaces and not least our Instagram feeds. The revolution comes in soft shapes, with curved contours and it is as if all straight lines and sharp corners have been eliminated in favour of the opposite. The shapes are accompanied by materials that feel as inviting as a soft and warm fur on a chilly winter day or a knitted mohair sweater against bare skin.
