Djembé is a series of lamps designed by Joan Gaspar for Marset year 2017. The minimalist lamps ise produced through a special technique that makes the outside and inside of the lamp differ considerably in their texture. The outside has a surface reminiscent of stone and the inside has a smooth satin-like finish. The exterior provides a sense of weight and volume, while the white interior contributes to a perfect surface for light to reflect.
The models included in the Djembé series are pendant and ceiling lamps in a number of different sizes and shapes. The lamps can be used individually or in combination with each other. With its design and high quality of light, Djembé is designed to be used in both private and public environments.
