Funiculi A Fabric - Wall Lamp is a wall lamp designed by Lluís Porqueras for Marset. The lamp was launched year 2013, but is based on a design by Porqueras from ån year 1979. Although it is based on drawings that are more than 40 years old, the lamp is as modern and functional today as it was then. Funiculi A Fabric - Wall Lamp is made of a frame in iron painted black. As a contrast to the hard iron, the lamp has been fitted with a textile shade that lets a warm light shine through and gives the wall lamp an elegant look.
Funiculi A Fabric - Wall Lamp is part of the Funiculi series. The name comes from the concept funicular - something that moves up and down. Funiculi has a design that makes the lamp movable up and down to meet the needs of the user. The series also includes floor and table lamps. The Funiculi series is characterised by its minimalist and contemporary design.
