Icha Bar Chair – Seat Upholstered is a bar chair designed by Chris Martin that was introduced by Massproductions in 2017 during Stockholm Design Week. The wooden chair's design is a mix of Scandinavian and Japanese design. The chair has a complex construction and is made of solid wood that has been laminated and bent using steam. Icha Bar Chair - Upholstered seat is designed to meet the demands and needs that can be placed on a piece of furniture in public environments. Proof that this chair meets these requirements and needs is that it has been certified with the designation Möbelfakta, which is a Swedish quality standard for furniture. Icha Bar Chair – Upholstered seat is made of beech and is available in several different finishes and colors. The upholstered seat is also available in a variety of designs in both fabric and leather.
Icha Bar Chair – Upholstered seat and the other furniture in the series were well received when they were presented during Stockholm Design Week in 2017. The furniture was appreciated so much that the magazine Elle Decoration named the chair "Chair of the Year" the following year.
