Tina Ratzer designed the elegant Varjo Rug Blue for Muuto of Denmark. The name Varjo means shadow in Finnish and the name hints at the design of the rug. The chosen technique creates a chain of shadows and light in the carpet, making Varjo an appropriate name. Varjo Rug Blue is handmade in 100% New Zealand wool. Vaje Rug Blue comes in two different sizes. The rug also comes in a selection of other colors.Tina Ratzer is a Danish designer with a background in textile design and craftsmanship. In 1999 she founded her own studio, Studio Ratzer. The designer often works with geometrical patterns and balanced shapes, which is evident in her designs. She also adds a twist or a surprising detail that adds an exciting character.
