Louis Vuitton Catwalk is a book about the luxury fashion house founded in 1854, which for many decades was a leader in luggage and accessory manufacturing. However, it was after the launch of its first fashion collections in 1998 that the company enjoyed unprecedented global fame, enabling collaborations with artists such as Richard Prince, Takashi Murakami and Stephen Sprouse. Louis Vuitton Catwalk begins with a brief history of the brand led by a biographer of Marc Jacobs, who was the chief creative officer between 1998 and 2014, and Nicolas Ghesquiere, who works with the brand today. The book also explores the collections in chronological order. Each collection begins with a short text and is illustrated with carefully selected images from the catwalk. Louis Vuitton Catwalk features hundreds of spectacular images of clothes, details, accessories and, of course, top models such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.
