NOGA is a collection of furniture and objects designed by iconic, established and up and coming designers. The pieces reflect the heritage of NOGA past, present and future and are only sold through NOGAS own channels.

Nordiska Galleriet was founded in 1912 when Anders Andersson built an impressive property on the corner where Nybrogatan meets Riddargatan. This was the start of a place that would grow to become the obvious destination for exclusive furniture and modern design in Stockholm.

An auction hall is opened with the intention of organising quality auctions for art and antique furniture, but the idea is scrapped and they switch to selling high quality antique furniture instead. In 1929, Anders Andersson's nephew Carl-Otto Heigard takes over the company. He complements the furniture shop with an art gallery and four years later the name Nordiska Galleriet is established.

Exclusive home furnishings from well-known designers

Nordiska Galleriet has a long tradition of famous exhibitions. In the 1950s, the 'Danish era' begins with a groundbreaking exhibition of designers such as Nanna and Jörgen Ditzel, Jørgen Høj and Finn Juhl. Høj also designed the new logo that was used until 2017. The tradition continues with the prominent 'Inspiration -63' exhibition featuring names like Børge Mogensen and Hans J. Wegner. In 1967, the "Viva l'Italia" exhibition was a huge success, introducing the Cassina and B&B Italia brands to Sweden. At the end of the 1970s, the Eames couple launched their designer furniture in Sweden, and in the same year Tobia Scarpa also designed the Nordiska Galleriet's in-house produced sofa, the Family Sofa, which can still be found at auctions today.

Today, Nordiska Galleriet offers exclusive designer furniture and interior details from all over the world. In addition to the collection of world-leading design from well-known brands, Nordiska Galleriet also offers self-produced sofas and design objects created by established designers and future stars.
