The elegant Slab Bar Stool was designed in 2006 by Tom Dixon for his own brand of the same name. Slab is a bar stool made of solid oak and is available in two finishes, natural oak or black lacquered oak. The chair has a base made of cast iron. The surface of the table is deeply brushed to expose its natural grain.
The idea behind the Slab series is to bring out the natural beauty of oak through the simple angles. The inspiration for Slab comes from the robust physique of a bull. In the same series and in our range there is also an elegant dining table, see Slab Table.
