The Aluminum Group Chair by Vitra is an iconic 20th-century design piece of furniture created by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958. Commissioned by an art collector in Columbus, Indiana, it differs from the Eames couple's previous shell chair designs by using a piece fabric or leather stretched between two aluminum profiles to create an elastic seat.
