The CH337 dining table was designed in 1962 by Hans J. Wegner for the Danish brand Carl Hansen Søn. This version of the table comes in FSCTM-certified Mahogany, a tropical wood renowned for its uniform and deep grain. The wood is prized for its durability and stability and is what Carl Hansen Søn have chosen for the production of some of its most popular furniture. The beautifully red-brown surface has been treated with a water-based oil to preserve its durability and protect it from chipping.
As with many other tables by Wegner from the same manufacturer, the CH337 is intended for use as a dining table and is flexible for larger spaces. This is because the top panels are available for purchase. The beautiful table goes well with Wegner chairs, such as CH36 or CH33.
