Light Stick is a floor lamp from Italian Catellani & Smith whose founder Enzo Catellani is the one behind the lamp's design. The floor lamp consists of a thin nickel-plated copper base with several small LED lights on it. The light can be adjusted with an integrated dimmer on the base of the lamp. The idea behind the Light Stick was to create something minimalist, discreet and almost invisible where all the focus is on the light it spreads. Unlike other collections from Catellani, which are often spectacular in their design, Light Stick is instead a simple floor lamp. The lamp stands out by being barely visible at all and instead the light is what gets all the attention. The flexible body of the floor lamp measures 183 cm in height and its base is only 8 cm, which means that it can easily be placed in places where floor space is extremely limited. Light Stick is also available as a wall lamp and these can be advantageously combined together or placed in several of the home's rooms.
