Eulero Rug from cc-tapis was designed by Elena Salmistraro. The rug is handmade in Nepal from Himalayan wool and cotton and comes in dimensions of 230 x 300 cm.
The Eulero Rug, which is part of the Flatlandia collection, is patterned with different geometrical shapes that interlock and overlap. Just like in the novel which inspired the collection, Flatland by Reverend Edwin A. Abbott in 1884, triangles, circles, and squares collide and gain awareness of each other and the magic they create together. Its no coincidence that the carpet was named after the famous mathematician Eulero. In the collection, Salmistraro plays with contrasts and two-dimensionality to create stylish patterns.
