Inspired by the re-use of wooden materials from shipping crates, this outdoor sofa is carefully crafted to honor the proportions and transparent structure of the original design. Its low profile, gently sloping backrest and seat, along with supportive armrests, reflect a perfect balance between functionality and comfort. The design is in line with Rietveld's architectural ideal of efficient use of space. The outdoor sofa is made of solid pine and protected with a water-based varnish.
