What is Watt, Lumen and Kelvin?

Watt measures the energy consumption of the bulb and is associated with power, which unfortunately cannot be translated directly into LED.

However, there is something called Lumen, abbreviated to lm, which is currently used to measure brightness. Lumen is simply the value to look for when choosing a light source.

You can follow a kind of principle when talking about the light you want to create, where decorative lighting should generally have a relatively low lumen value. However, general lighting can go up to a higher value and not least work lighting, which should have the highest.

Kelvin is abbreviated with a k, and is the value that measures the colour temperature, which is essential when it comes to the lighting itself. In short, the lower the kelvin value, the warmer the light in question. However, it can be difficult to know which kelvin value to go for, but try to keep in mind that 2700 k is a relevant value to start with for the home.
