The Pipistrello Medium Table Lamp from Martinelli Luce is an iconic lamp and a piece of modern design history created by Gae Aulenti in 1965. Pipistrello Medium is the medium-sized model of the lamp, available in three sizes and several different finishes. Pipistrello Medium is dimmable and available in several different colors, the right version has a tasteful brass base. Characterising the design of the table lamp is the cone-shaped telescopic foot and shade in white methacrylate, shaped like four bat wings that are joined in the middle with a knob. Thanks to the telescopic foot, Pipistrello Medium has an adjustable height between 50 - 62 cm.
Pipistrello is also available in several sizes, shapes and variants with or without dimmer. The series has also been completed with a completely new battery-powered option. In 2015, a gold-plated anniversary edition was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pipistrello.
