The stylish Ark desk was designed by Antonio Cittero in 2000 for the Italian company Maxalto. The Italian designer and architect Citterio is well known in the field of furniture design and architecture. He has designed for a number of furniture manufacturers, including B&B Italia, and is also the sole designer for B&B Italia's elegant Maxalto brand. With clean and simple lines and solid materials, it creates timeless and classic furniture for the home.

Arké is elegant cabinets in the same style as the Arké side tables. The shelf is divided into three sections of solid wood, joined together by hinges in either nickel or chrome. The sheet is available in brushed black oak, brushed light oak, green oak and Sucupira wood, or lacquered in a variety of colors.
