The 19 Outdoors Stacking Chair Set of 2, designed by Butterfield Brothers for NINE, is part of the 19 Outdoors collection, inspired by the 19 Chairs charity project. These stackable chairs are made of powder-coated aluminium, providing a uniform aesthetic throughout in material choice, color and proportions. During the Covid-19 lockdown, the duo made 19 chairs in 19 days in their south London garden. The chairs were sent to 19 artists to be redesigned with the elderly in mind and the result exhibited in London. The project also included an online charity auction where the proceeds were donated to Age UK. The furniture is adaptable for different outdoor environments, from small balconies to restaurants.
