In 2020, Nordiska Galleriet Rugs launched a range of wool rugs, including Solid Wool Rug Sage Green. Our hand-tufted rugs have been developed in collaboration with a family-owned company in India that has long experience in producing quality rugs. Solid Wool Rug Sage Green is made from 100% wool and its backing is made from 100% cotton. The backing is a treatment that stabilizes the dimensions of the rug and extends its life. The treatment means that the rug cannot be used on floors with underfloor heating because the cotton edges underneath are coated with latex adhesive that can melt and peel at high temperatures.
This version of Solid Wool Rug Sage Green comes in a green color. In the same range there are six more colors to choose from. The rugs come in standard sizes of 200 x 300 cm and 300 x 400 cm, but are also available in special sizes and cost SEK 1,750 per square meter. In addition to a number of wool rugs in various sizes and colors, Nordiska Galleriet Rugs has also produced high-quality rya rugs. Each from Nordiska Galleriet rug has a handwritten label.
