Copper Round is a pendant lamp from Tom Dixon that he designed for his own brand in 2005. The black version has a monochrome interior in metallized aluminium and a glossy surface on the outside that allows the lamp to reflect its surroundings in a subtle way and can change its expression depending on the interior in which it is placed. The pendant has been formed by a small amount of metal being heated to a high temperature and then sucked into its shape and surface by an electrical process. Due to the unique manufacturing process, extremely small gaps can sometimes appear in the metal coating.
