The Plane Chandelier is a classic and space-filled chandelier from Tom Dixon that he designed himself in 2014. As part of Dixon's Plane lamp collection, the Plane Chandelier is the largest of them and consists of 18 double-layered white glass balls. Its simple geometric shapes and sculptural aesthetics create an eye-catching chandelier thanks to its shiny and brass-plated steel frame that meets the frosted glass spheres distributed over three levels in a dynamic formation.
Tom Dixon says that geometry is constantly recurring in the work and that opposites are part of the exploration, with flat and round, shiny and matte, reflective and transparent all being cornerstones in the creation of Plane. The Plane Chandelier is also available in a smaller version, the Plane Short Chandelier, and as a drop-shaped chandelier, the Plane Drop Chandelier. In the same collection, Plane is also available as a pendant lamp and as a table and wall lamp.
