Akari 15A is a pendant lamp by Vitra designed by Japanese–American sculptor, architect and designer Isamu Noguchi in 1951.Akari is a range of luminaires designed by Noguchi and made by hand in shoji paper by Japanese craftsmen. Noguchi's work is artistically linked to abstract expressionism and his design style came to have a great influence on 1950s design.All the candle sculptures in the Akari range are marked with a logo representing the sun and moon, reinforcing the authenticity of each product.
