Akari 1N is a table lamp by Vitra designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1951. Akari 1N is part of the Akari lamp range, which consists of lamps handmade from shoji paper, paper made from the bark of the bark from mulberry tree. Akari 1N is designed in white shoji paper with a steel frame. The lamp is supported by three black lacquered legs. All lamps in the Akariserie are handmade by Japanese craftsmen.All light sculptures in the Akariserie are marked with a logo representing the sun and the moon, confirming the authenticity of each product.
