The Grand Repos Ottoman was designed in 2011 by Antonio Citterio for the Vitra brand. The seat is made of polyurethane foam and has a head cushion filled with feathers. The base is rotatable and comes in aluminum in a choice of a polished or powder-coated finish. The ottoman is made of a plastic panel, polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. Thanks to the generous padding, the Grand Repos is both a generous and a flexible sofa. With a clever synchronized mechanism mounted under the cover, it is easy to adjust the angle of the lounge chair from upright to inclined, and lock the back rest at any angle. Grand Repos can also be purchased with the matching Panchina footstool, or separately. The lounge chair has a seat height of 40 cm and the ottoman 42.5 cm, but is also available in a higher version.
