Organic Chair is a lounge chair designed by Charles Eames Eero Saarinen for Swiss brand Vitra. Made of a laminate shell, polyurethane foam upholstery with fabric cover. The legs are made of ash wood. Choose from upholstery in several colors. This way you can easily create your own personal Organic Chair to suit your home.Organic Chair was designed in 1940 and is both stylish and comfortable. The lounge chair was originally created as an entry for MoMA's Organic Design in Home Furnishing competition. When designed, it was ahead of its time, and due to a lack of suitable manufacturing techniques, it was not put into production until ten years later, in the 1950s.
