The dining table CH388 is a beautiful example of Hans J. Wegner's visionary and playful design during the 1960s. Wegner experimented extensively with materials. Today, the table is manufactured by Carl Hansen & Søn with a solid oak tabletop and a stainless steel base. At our store, you can choose the tabletop with an oiled, soap-treated, white oiled, or clear-lacquered finish.

There are also two basic variants to choose from for the CH388. There is both with and without an extendable function. If you choose the extendable variant, you can accommodate up to two extension leaves. This table is only compatible with the extension leaf CH388I, which is available for separate purchase in the same material as the table. Remember that the wood grain may vary between the table and the extension leaf. It pairs well with any of Hans J. Wegner's many chairs, such as the models CH88, CH24, or CH33.
