USEFUL FRYING PANS IN DIFFERENT MATERIALS
We have pans in a variety of materials to help you find one that suits you and your cooking, as well as being compatible with your hob. Our range includes frying pans from French brand Pillivuyt, among others. The light and strong cast iron frying pan is ideal if you want to achieve a high heat and grilling effect. You will also find pans from the Swedish brand Kockums Jernverk. The carbon steel frying pan makes it twenty percent lighter than a cast iron pan. The stylishly designed frying pan works on all types of stoves and adds a stylish, rustic feel to the kitchen. Mauviel's range includes stainless steel tray pans with a non-stick coating that ensures food won't burn when you fry, no matter how much fat you have in the pan. The pan is ideal for induction but is also compatible with other cookers. You can also find sauté pans from the same brand. A sauté pan is easy to use and perfect for everyday use. A sauté pan made of cast iron can quickly rise in temperature and maintains an even heat. Our range also includes sauté pans of various sizes in other materials. Complement with other Mauviel kitchen utensils for a uniform and elegant kitchen set.
THE RIGHT FRYING PAN FOR YOUR STOVE
Different cookers may require you to use specific types of frying pans. Aluminium or stainless steel pans need a magnetic base containing iron to work on an induction hob. A cast iron pan, which has natural iron in it, is an excellent choice for an induction hob. A pan with a sandwich base is also a good choice. This pan has a bottom with different materials layered on top of each other, the middle one being a magnetic one. A tip to find out if the pan or frying pan is magnetic is to hold a magnet against the bottom. If the magnet is pulled towards the pan, you can use it on an induction hob without any problem. If you are unsure, look for the induction symbol on the pan which is a guarantee that it will work on this type of hob.
