With the Veliero bookcase, Cassina has created an updated version of an older design. After an extended period of research and development, the company's designers produced a production prototype of the original 1940s piece of furniture that architect Franco Albini created for his Milan home. Respecting the authentic underlying concept of the design and the compelling experimental feel, today's model preserves the airy and bright original ideal. Veliero is also available in a limited edition in black stained ash wood with stainless steel metal caps.
